Match Report

Chargers fall to Knight’s Invasion….

The Knights travel to Chelmsford for their first “Road Trip” of this season’s campaign, the home game resulted in an 12-2 victory for the Knights. Would today’s game produce another win???

The first goal was scored quickly when Tim Bill took a shot at the net and scored in the first minute. Another 2 goals followed in the next minute with Cody McBride proving that Canada can score! The International Knights continued the goal onslaught with 2 goals from Petr, & goals from Sami “Salo” Kasteniemi, Luc Janssens & UK, Chris Spencer.

The 2nd period saw a quick goal with a great shot from the point by returning Defenceman Chris Shardlow proving that elbow surgery cannot stop this valuable player. A Hatrick from Petr soon followed & with a few minor penalties to both teams the Chargers couldn’t seem to turn the play around.

The Knights stepped up play even more in the 3rd & scored a further 10 goals, crediting, Neil (3), Sami (2), Petr (2), Paul Hume , Chris Spencer & Ryan Beech. Credit also goes to Steve Grout in the net for keeping a clean sheet.
