Match Report This was the Knights first meeting with the Slough Satan's this season and from past performance, it should have proved an easy victory…… The first period saw end to end play resulting in the first goal being awarded to the Knights from a Chris Spencer pass to Petr Popluhar, who fired the puck passed the goalie. Try as both teams might, the goalies denied any further goals. Both teams came out hard in the second period. There were plenty of opportunities from both sides and with a few penalties to both sides it was plain to see that neither goalie was ready to give up a goal. Both goalies worked hard stopping all shots. The third period saw the Knights step up the pace and the Spencer / Popluhar duo were on fire, 40 seconds into the period, the duo struck with the Knights 2nd goal. The third goal came 20 seconds later, again from the “Dyanmic Duo”. The Satan's were feeling the strain of a short bench as the Duo struck again half-way through the period and a further goal 5 minutes from the end…… This was the Knights first meeting with the Slough Satan's this season and from past performance, it should have proved an easy victory…… The first period saw end to end play resulting in the first goal being awarded to the Knights from a Chris Spencer pass to Petr Popluhar, who fired the puck passed the goalie.
