Match Report

This was the first meeting between the 2 teams at the Ice Bowl…..This Police team train out of Slough & with a large roster, it would be interesting to see who was icing.   A few old Knights’ faces could be seen in the form of Chris Shaw & Hass Baig now icing for the Police.

The first period saw an immediate goal only 11 seconds from the start with Spencer showing that he could find the net early on.  Another quick goal just 23 seconds later from Tom pushed the scoring up.  Tom found the goal again & with the MET Police finding the net, it showed that the Police were not going to roll over.  A final goal in the period came from Petr.

The second period saw a flurry of goals with a hat-trick from Petr Popluhar.  With the Police finding the net again, they were not going to be beaten back.

The third period saw 2 goals from Loyde & one from Ben. The Police found the net once more & the final goal of the game came from Joel with an assist to Chris Robins.
