Match Report

Tonight we welcome the Solent Scorpions to the Ice Bowl.   There is a lot of history between these teams, which often results in a Knights win, would tonight’s game go the Knights way?

The play started hard and fast between the two teams, with shots being fired at both ends.  The Scorpions found the net first but with a Rocket shot form Sami (assist to Spence) the 1st period was tied at 1 -1.

The Knights came out strong in the 2nd…. A pass from new boy Dean to Tim just proved how well the new guys were adjusting to Rec hockey.  A Scorpions goal  evened things up again.  With Peter M in D passing the puck to Spence who in turn found Tim with yet another goal scoring opportunity.  With the Scorpions evening it up again, it was left to Petr P to score from a quality pass from M-Man Darren Keen.  The Knights has edged forward by a goal.

Again, the 3rd saw shots at both ends and with Scorpions Rich Wilson in goal, would the Knights be able to beat him one last time.  With play deep in the Knights end it was Andrejs in net for the Knights who kept the flame alive……

A pass from Tim to Petr P in the dying seconds of the game clinched the final goal!
